History
DHS’s origins sprang from the aviation industry in the early 1970’s developing the predecessors of the stretchers the world knows today. In the early 1990’s DHS Emergency was born, establishing a stand-alone manufacturing company dedicated to the production of innovative solutions to alleviate the problems within the emergency response sector.
The DHS stretcher project began with the development of the much loved 302, providing a simple, sturdy drop leg product still in service 2 decades on.
Ideas pioneered all those years ago have been fine tuned in the designs that followed…
- 303
- 304
- 305-1/T/V & N
Today, DHS champions the use of powered stretchers introducing the totally “no lift” powered ALS & Bariatric PLS stretchers using Carbon Fibre frames to deliver a complete OH&S solution into the market.
The same thinking was applied to our Spine board development with DHS incorporating the latest…
- Material technologies
- Design innovations
- OH&S requirements
- Value for money
Through the years we have moved from wooden backboards to what is now world leading design in the Carbon Fibre 390CF, and all developed with the support and input from the emergency services themselves.
We will continue to explore new avenues for solutions to any on-going issues in the world of emergency services, and provide always a world class product at a market friendly price.
DHS Emergency… often copied, never bettered.
