Quality

With lives often dependant on the quality of the goods presented and services offered, DHS is always focused on presenting a totally professional operation. We deliver an end product we are proud to put our name to. Working within ISO9001/2008 quality systems, many of the items DHS produce are ahead of the published standards themselves and to this end we apply our own stringent guidelines and testing to market expectation and beyond.

Our harnesses are tested to AS/NZ4535 20G levels. CE Marking and EC Conformity are applied to a number of our products to which no local standard applies.

DHS looks to provide world best practice to everything we produce.

Testing & Evaluation

DHS Emergency has an in-house static test lab used for conducting Static Load Tests for qualification and certification purposes on new parts and components. DHS Emergency has full capabilities for the design, development, testing and manufacture of these items. All the required documentation will be prepared and submitted by the Engineering and Quality Assurance Departments and forwarded to the approving body. We can also supply documentation such as: Static Load Test Plans, Static Load Test Reports, Compliance Overview Reports, Material Fire Properties Test Plans, Interface Loads Reports and Flammability Compliance Reports.

Certification

DHS ISO9001

DHS Emergency operates under ISO90001/2008 Quality Certification (see above). Wherever standards apply to DHS products are tested to those standards and certification issued. CE Markings and relevant European standards are issued where that measure applies.

Where a product has to meet these standards the relevant certification shall accompany the product at sale.

Identification & Traceability

DHS Emergency is committed to quality, safety and product life-cycle management; we achieve this through a comprehensive system of Product Identification and Traceability.

“The ability to trace and follow through all stages of production, processing and distribution of our products and services, from concept to operational units in the field.”

DHS utilise the very latest technologies, provided as an option, including RFID, Asset Tracking & Maintenance as well as clearly managed identification of all contributing materials that could affect product quality used in the manufacture of product, and the final product, to ensure their full traceability.

DHS has an established Product realisation process that is inclusive of:

-  procedures to identify a product

-  Determine what drawings, or other specifications, are used as it moves through manufacturing, delivery and installation.

- Individual products or batches of products have unique serial identifications assuring inventory management and facilitate warranty, recall and service notices should the need arise.
